AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

We had a great experience with AAMCO. Jay was especially helpful throughout our entire process. We had carried our vehicle to another auto shop and they told us that we needed a throttle along with other things. Even after carrying it to the previous auto shop, our car continued to cut off while driving it. We decided to carry it to AAMCO and that was the best thing we could have done. Jay was very informative and explained to us exactly what needed to be done. Our vehicle needed a computer which they installed and needless to say, it was very reasonable. Highly recommend!! Thank you Jay!!

They called to confirm my appointment, let me know what was wrong in 2 business days, and offered a decent price for a transmission replacement. The communication was great and the staff was friendly.

I had a great experience with this shop. Jay was especially helpful throughout the process. He provided great customer service, kept me informed, and took the time to answer my questions. The work was completed professionally, and I left feeling confident in the repair. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for honest and reliable service.

I recently took my car to Aamco I thought I had a rear seal leak which will require the transmission to be dropped. First of all let me say that a diagnostic test here It's only about $50 which is about the cheapest I know in Greensboro if you decide not to have your repair done at the location. The manager, Mr Jay Sherman was very informative and patient with me explaining what needed to be done. He was very kind to make sure that I knew what was going on each step of the process; communication was a plus. I recommend him and the shop for any needs that you have with your car. Upfront and honest. There are financial assistance options available, I will caution against Koalfi though. ( Nothing 2 do with Aamco). Go see Mr Jay.

I called to get a second opinion on needed repairs suggested by a dealership service center. I spoke with Jay who took time to review the information I sent him, discuss what it all meant with me, and offer his opinion. He said he felt we were being led in the right direction and that what we were quoted was fair. He did all of this without us using his services. I was incredibly impressed with his professionalism, honesty, and integrity. When our next car needs arise, this will be our first stop.
